Lunch for 3/11/14: Nugget Day, Scalloped Potato, Green Beans, Peaches
**Students wishing to attend state events such as State Jazz, State Basketball Tournaments etc. must have a note from a parent excusing them from school, a green sheet filled out and turned into the office and approval from the school prior to attending the event.
PTO: is looking for volunteers to sign up to run games during the Elementary carnival on March 28th.
2014 BASEBALL ORDERS: Order forms are available online, or in Mr. Hill's room, for anyone interested in purchasing items. Items that are not sport specific include baseball hat, stocking hat, fleece pullover, t-shirts, shorts, and long sleeve t-shirt. These items either say "NORSEMEN" or "RS." If interested go to the link below, orders are due to Coach Hill by noon 3/12.
GUIDANCE: The following reps will be in the guidance office at 12:40 - during seminar - a rep from DMACC will be here to visit with any students considering DMACC as a college choice. At 2:40 a rep from AIB will be here to check in with any students interested in possibly attending AIB. Why not stop down and see what one or both of these schools have to offer you?...psampson
HOSA is hosting another LifeServe blood drive in the old gym on Thursday, March 13th. During lunch, permission slips for the blood drive will be handed out. If you don't get one and would like one, there are more copies in the office. If you've given blood before and are over 16, you do not need another permission slip. That day is a 2:30 dismissal, so check your schedule and sign up to save a life.
STORY COUNTY CRIME STOPPERS: Is holding a dodge ball tournament on March 29, 2014 in Ames. Registration forms are in the office.
CALLING ALL POETS!!! It's time to collect poems for next year's calendar. Write an epic poem, sonnet, narrative poem, or Haiku about something Roland-Story (be nice) and submit it to Mrs. Ferrell for consideration. Submissions are due March 14 by 8:30 a.m.
COOKIE DOUGH ORDERS: Juniors be prepared to pick up cookie dough orders sometime the week of March 10th-14th. Exact time and location will be determined later. Keep an eye on the bulletin for further announcements.
SENIOR BOYS: It's that time of the year again! YOU could be Mr. Irresistible! Sign up before it's too late. Sign up sheets will be posted in the office and Mr. Bowman's room. Don't hesitate to reveal your inner swag. Mr. Irresistible is a male-based "pageant" where you get to show off your talent, wit, and good looks. We're all waiting for YOU to prove to us that YOU are the next Mr. Irresistible! Sign up deadline will be March 7th. Thanks. Hope to see many participants! ;)
